  • You can use your insurance for labs, prescriptions, specialists, xrays, emergencies, surgeries, etc. Renaissance Health does NOT bill insurance for our services. We can provide you (upon request) a superbill and you MAY be able to get partially reimbursed from your insurance plan on an out-of-network basis. We do happily accept Health Savings Plans (HSAs) and FSAs  (but check with your accountant or employer for specific plan policies).

  • We do work with a limited amount of people requiring payment scholarships/reduced fees.

  • We absolutely care for Medicare recipients. You can use Medicare for hospitalizations, emergencies, prescriptions, labs, specialists. Unfortunately, we had to opt out of Medicare and we cannot bill Medicare NOR can you submit our superbills to Medicare for reimbursement.

  • Yes. We highly recommend medical insurance for surgeries, hospitalizations, specialty consults, labs, prescriptions, etc. Another option is a Health Share account. It is important to be covered for large, unexpected expenses as medical bankruptcy is the largest cause of personal bankruptcy in the US.

  • Since the majority of our visits are virtual, it is important that you have a doctor that you can see for urgent situations. Urgent care and/or Emergency Rooms can work for this.

  • Dr. George has her medical license in California and the medical board requires that patients reside in California.

  • No, that is the beauty of this membership practice. We do not charge extra for any of our services. (If we ever do, you will be notified ahead of time.) All of our advice, visits, messages, are included in your membership. Like having a doctor in the family!

  • We do have a private office in Napa that can be used for some patients visits. This works well if you visit Napa even once a year to check-in in person! For those that are local to the Napa area, we still do our initial visits on Zoom, but then can arrange for an in person visit. Dr. George has been known to have walking visits with some of her patients!
